GROUND

LISTENING

We believe God has appointed leaders to serve in each part of the world.  We “hit the ground listening” to identify established, gifted local church leaders whose work demonstrates the love of God. We are a Christian ministry serving widows, orphans and those in need in Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Southeast Asia, and Zimbabwe through effective local Christian leaders.

WHO WE ARE

OUR VISION

▽

Our vision is service in unity. One of our key values is relationship. We take the time to understand each leader’s vision, ideas, values, and assets and establish a partnership tailored to local needs. Our commitment is to support those needs through partnership and empowerment.

OUR MISSION

We believe God has already appointed leaders to each area of the world. Our vision is a partnership between those leaders and those serving in other parts of the world where each serves in unity lending the assets and abilities each possesses. Our mission is to identify gifted leaders engaged in holistic ministry and support them in unity. The heart of holistic ministry is meeting physical needs of food, clothing, and shelter with sharing the gospel; the grace of giving joins the sharing of the message.

Cambodia_Map.png

Cambodia is a country of origin, destination, and transit for women and children trafficked primarily for commercial sexual exploitation. An estimated 30,000 Cambodian women have been trafficked into forced labor in neighboring Asian countries. Our rescue site in Kampong Cham is called Grace Fields and can house 48 girls when complete providing education, counseling, vocational training, and spiritual development. Currently 11 girls and 2 very young children live in safety there. View photos in our gallery.

Our Sri Lankan partner, Kithu Sevana, is an indigenous church planting ministry with a 25 year record of developing churches in Sri Lanka and Southeast Asia. The essence of the ministry is the belief that the great commission is to make disciples, and the greatest commandment is to love God with all your heart and to love your neighbor as yourself. We believe these two concepts are wedded, and therefore effective ministry requires both church planting and caring for those in need. Through church planting, Kithu Sevana draws people to a loving relationship with God, and through acts of kindness, we care for those in need, both the rich and the poor. Kithu Sevana serves through building and running two orphanages, two widows centers, a home for at-risk girls, a recovery center, a vocational training site and other ministries. We are developing a sustainability farm that will provide enough income to cover the costs of these ministries. Please see out gallery for more information.
